The provincial green manufacturing system demonstration units are an important measure to promote green manufacturing, the peak carbon dioxide emissions, and the green and low-carbon transformation of manufacturing industry in Hunan Province. The 153 demonstration units for this recognition include 136 green factories and 17 green parks.

 

In recent years, Chenzhou EDZ has attached great importance to creating a green park, held accountable for ecological environmental protection, taken multiple measures, and strengthened supervision to promote green and sustainable development of the park. It has also strengthened the monitoring and management of safety risks to improve the risk prevention and control capabilities.

 

In addition, Chenzhou EDZ encourages enterprises to carry out energy-saving technology transformation, supports them to apply for provincial and municipal energy-saving special funds, and guides enterprises to save energy and reduce consumption through equipment upgrading and technological innovation.

 

In the next stage, Chenzhou EDZ will continuously optimize the industrial structure, and make every effort to build a green, low-carbon, and circular industrial system with the goal of resource conservation, improved quality and efficiency of enterprises, industrial iteration, and economic transformation.
